Sonisphere Festival headline further 28 latest bands include on the bill.

Bad Religion, Cavalera Conspiracy and The Answer are amongst the latest additions to confirmed to perform in this year.

Sonisphere Festival revealed more acts

The Answer, Cancer Bats, Hayseed Dixie and Pulled Apart by Horses are the latest wave of acts to confirmed to perform at the English leg of Sonisphere 2011.

The music festival event which takes place in cities across Europe in this summer, alongside the British show at Knebworth House from 8th to 10th July.

The big coup for this year's event are the Big Four - Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.

Arcane Roots, Me Vs Hero, Rolo Tomassi, Tesseract, Title Fight and Tek-One at Sonisphere Festival

Arcane Roots, Me Vs Hero, Rolo Tomassi, Tesseract, Title Fight and Tek-One are perform in this summer Sonisphere Festival 2011 at Knebworth Home.

They acts confirmed to perform at the Red Bull Bedroom Jam stage.

At the Jagermeister stage include Amplifier, Anterior, The Crave, Hounds, Demonic Resurrection, Jettblack, Orange Goblin, Fletcher, Saint Jude and The Virgin Marys.

As previously reported on the bill include thrash metal’s Big 4 of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax on the opening Friday night.

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro are elevated to headline status on the Saturday, with Weezer and The Mars Volta are also performing on the main stages.

Over the weekend other bands performing such as Limp Bizkit, The Sisters of Mercy and Motorhead.

Further 28 acts have been booked to perform for this year Sonisphere Festival 2011 which held at Knebworth House from July 8 to Sunday, July 10.

Punk rock revivalists Bad Religion, metal band Cavalera Conspiracy, as tipped by the Welwyn Hatfield Times yesterday, and Reading thrashers Sylosis will perform on the Apollo stage at Knebworth in July.

While America’s loudest lounge singer Richard Cheese has been confirmed for the Saturn arena on the Saturday.

"This one will be a huge homecoming for us with our new line-up, and we are ready to entertain and exhilarate Sonisphere and then join the party for the rest of the weekend."

Another eight acts will perform on the Bohemia Stage.

Leading the charge will be Northern Irish rockers The Answer and Canadian hardcore heroes Cancer Bats.

My Passion vocalist Laurence René said: “Sonisphere is a festival made for My Passion to perform.

“Not only is it on our doorstep being Hertfordshire men but we are also ready to follow the footsteps of our new label mates Rammstein, who played one of the most phenomenal shows my senses have ever witnessed in 2010.

“This one will be a huge homecoming for us with our new line-up, and we are ready to entertain and exhilarate Sonisphere and then join the party for the rest of the weekend.

“Slipknot and Biffy are hugely influential and just a taste of the diversity!”

Sonisphere Festival headline the latest acts Punk legends Bad Religion confirmed to perform in this year.

The festival event held at Knebworth on July 8 and 10, will be the heavier-than-life offspring of brothers Max and Igor, the Cavalera Conspiracy.

Reading thrashers Sylosis also joined on the bill.

Max Cavalera, who performed previous year's UK Sonisphere with Soulfly, said: "I’m super excited to be part of the Sonisphere Festival in the UK with Cavalera Conspiracy.

"We have a new album out, Blunt Force Trauma, and me and Iggor are on fire.

At the Jagermeister stage across the weekend will be Essex rockers Hounds perform on the Friday, superstars Saint Jude, rock’n’rollers The Virgin Mary's, plus UK rockers The Crave and Jettblack on Saturday, who both look forward to the weekend:

"We were lucky enough to play Sonisphere in its very first year here in the UK in 2009” says THE Crave's frontman/guitarist Ryan Burnett. “It was a great atmosphere and a great show from what we can remember, but it was the Jager stage, so we don't remember that much. We look forward to not remembering much from this year’s great performance too. Be there to remind us."

Jettblack bassist Tom Wright enthuses “To be playing one of the biggest metal festivals is one thing, but to be on the same bill as four of the biggest metal bands of all time is fucking amazing!”

Demonic Resurrection, Manchester power trio Amplifier, Welsh thrashers Anterior, and Fletcher eill perform on Sunday with Orange Goblin.

Frontman Ben Ward reckons: “Orange Goblin are delighted and honoured to be a part of Sonisphere 2011. This festival marks the first ever ‘Big 4’ shows on British soil so the weekend will go down in the annuls of metal history! Although, now Orange Goblin are playing I guess it should be re-named the Big 5!!!”

Cavelera Conspiracy booked to perform at Apollo Stage.

Max Cavalera promises a show mixed alongside favourites both old and new at their only UK festival appearance this summer:

“I’m fucking super excited to be part of the Sonisphere Festival in the UK with Cavalera Conspiracy. We have a new album out, Blunt Force Trauma, and me and Iggor are on fire.

We are gonna play stuff from the first CD, Inflikted, new stuff, some Sepultura and Nailbomb classics, so it should be a storm of metal coming to Sonisphere UK. I can’t wait!”

Bad Religion's Josh Middleton is excited at the prospect:

“We are beyond thrilled to be back at Sonisphere again this year.

“To be on the main stage is an absolute dream come true for all of us and will be our biggest show to date. Knowing that we will be the first band on that stage after Metallica the night before kind of blows my mind. It’s an honour to play on the same stage as so many influential bands.”

At the Bohemin Stage include further eight acts include Northern Irish rockers The Answer, his frontman Cormac Neeson says,

“It’s a great feeling to be asked to play at Sonisphere where we will be rubbing shoulders with the elite of the rock and metal world. Bill Bailey will perform at Sonisphere Festival

KNEBWORTH House ceremony this year Sonisphere UK one of the biggest comedy acts will be the host.

Comedy legend and multi-instrumentalist Bill Bailey will appear in what will be the country’s biggest comedy performance at a rock festival.

Sonisphere Festival will run on 8th July to 10th July, while Bill Bailey will perform at the Saturn Arena Stage on the Sunday.

Sonisphere Festival line-up Bill Bailey

Sonisphere Festival 2011 line-up Musical comedy legend Bill Bailey has been confirmed to perform in this year.

Bailey, his music and light shows with comedy is famous for, event, which runs July 8 to 11 on Saturday at Knebworth in the field will top the bill on stage.

He said that he established the first outdoor festival was thrilled to be comedy.

He said, "I am utterly stoked to be playing Sonisphere alongside some of my heroes of metal".

"Unleash the Wild Dogs of Rock!"
