Next year Meatllica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax are set to Sonisphere festival.The Big Four bands will top bill on the opening day from July 8-10 at Knebworth. It will mark the first time have brought their show to the UK.
Metallica's member Lars Ulrich said, “Put your dancing shoes on, this is gonna be fun”.
Slayer’s Kerry King added: “Now England is in line to be devastated by this heavy metal powerhouse! Can’t F*cking wait!!!”
Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax were connected the last announced headliners Biffy Clyro and Slipknot.
